Soap: Burk Avenue shave cream
Post: medicated witch hazel
A/S: Pinaud Naturelle

So the shave was weird. I started with the VDH blade but switched to Astra because the shave felt rough. But even after the switch the continued to feel rough. The cream was a gift a couple of years ago and this barely my 2nd use. It has a crisp clean smell to it. Maybe a tinge of citrus but i doubt it. Its really nice and the brush i just forgot which brand it is but i recently just set the knot. Its been in a box for over a year because i couldnt decide which size knot to put in. I m not sure i picked the right one.. lol the knot fit perfect in the hole but loft seems to tall. The other choice was a smaller diameter but i couldnt figure how deep to set it. Ugh! Decisions!! Bbs smooth shave with some discomfort but the lotion soothed me out.

I think I'll break out my Stoylin Glacial Sunday....supposed to hit 91.

 

Fico di Amalfi is a great scent. I recommend it.

 

Lovely shave with this Kropp. Nice velcro ripping sound along with a smooth and close shave. Wonderful

Interesting shave today. Triple pass SR (GD 208 modded) with Gillette Pure shave cream, Semogue 1305 brush and F.A. lather bowel. Nice mentholated shave on a hot day. Finished off with a generous splash of Pinaud Lilac Vegetal for that fresh feeling.

First shave with one. I have to say it was very nice. Smooth and sharp. Just what I like. I will have to use it some more and follow up on this comment. But it did impress me.

 

Friday May 21st SOTN

Well, I chickened out on the MMOC and instead reached for my Gillette HD 500. It’s been a while and I’m not sure why!? Well I do actually... I have a very large collection of razors and have been using modern ones for a while. Also thought I’d try the Indian Sandalwood with a cold water shave tonight as it was 86 degrees today. WOW was it good! I think I’m going to repeat the same setup this weekend. I’m smooth and smell great for bed.
