I thought about getting me a rubber stamp holder for my brushes. The strip kind that attaches to the wall. Never crossed my mind to Plasti Dip it. Thanks for the idea and tip!

Just finished. They need several hours to fully dry. Not great but will serve its purpose. I went with gun metal grey. It matches the base which is grey.

It noticed it started scratching my brushes

Looks good. I don't know how you managed to avoid the drip tear drop on all of the ends but looks very well done.

It was hard at first but figured it shortly after. You let the excess drip off and then tip the whole thing back and blow on it or a second or 2 then proceed to dip the next section.. dip then pull it out and let excess drip off then tip back and blow. This prevents the excess to dry into point and makes it slide back

    That's a good idea too.

I've thought about trying the self-fusing silicone tape as well. It bonds to itself via chemical bond and uses no glues or adhesive. Pretty much permanent unless you cut it off.

But now that I think about it, it might also bond to brush handles depending on what kind of chemical reaction bond it is. I guess I would just need to get a roll and test it. Last thing I want is to go grab for one of my brushes and it won't even come out of the holder. lol

the stuff i have seen is self bonding like vinyl electrical tape.is meant for auto wiring harnesses.it may be sticky on the outside, not sure.the shrink wrap comes in many colors also, smooth or satin finishes etc.even clear stuff available, just watch how you heat the clear stuff.open flame can discolor it.heat gun is better.:)

The penn adjustable came in and it appears to be new and unused. The blade bank is full of new blades and there are an additional 4 sealed packs . Now to see how it shaves.

Okay just got it in today, highly recommend getting a bottle. It’s a very unique scent to me but seems a little familiar to something I’ve smelled before just can’t put my finger on it. Almost has a little bit of a maple syrup sweetness feel to it. Definitely check it out.

Thats an awesome razor. Do you have an original to compare? I cant wait to hear the reviews because i love my gibbs and cant wait to see the comparisons between the 2.

I don't have an original Gibbs to compare to. Unless somebody wants to loan me one along with some modified blades... The closest I have is the Ambassador, and I'll definitely be doing a side-by-side with that.

    Just ordered.

The Spanish Aqua Velva and LEA Soap Sticks are just backups for the supply stash.

The Stirling Glacial Satsuma set will be new for me, however. I’ve really enjoyed using the Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill set so much since it arrived, I decided to grab another Glacial set. I’ve heard good comments on the Satsuma scent.
