    No picture for today’s shave. Unexpectedly I bled like a stuck pig today on setting 9 with the fat boy. Had a lot of growth but apparently my face didn’t appreciate it. Surprisingly the alum block took good care of that bleeding but I’ll be taking a few days off for my face to heal some. Needless to say BBS acquired ;).

    Ouch! You are usually solid when it comes to DE shaving. It could have been the prep, blade, setting, pressure, or the razor angle. You have a "green" beard so I would have started at setting 6 to see if the razor would perform a fine first pass and then I would have adjusted accordingly.
