    Fat Friday

    Razorock Gamechanger 0.84 solid bar on a Maggard Razors MR8 handle.
    Astra SP (fresh)
    Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap
    Frank Shaving badger
    Irish Chestnut by Andy Hilfiger cologne

    Awesome Fat lather this morning. If you do not have the Fat in your den then you are missing out.

    In keeping with the Fat theme I put the MR8 handle on the Gamechanger this morning. I don't think it can get any fatter than the MR8.......5.2 ounces of fat!

    Three nice and smooth passes with no blood loss. Surprisingly the big chunk of stainless steel is not bad to drive.

    A little witch hazel and juice and this was in the bag.

    This morning's shave was a repeat(back 9)of the Gillette Foamy Menthol with Royal Copenhagen. Not a bad combination for the summer. One pass, as that is all that is needed with foam shaves(for me, that is). All went very well. One theme I am working on this summer is combining cold creams/soaps with "lukewarm" aftershaves, also "cool"(but not cold)soaps with much cooler aftershaves. No "warm/warm" here.(until around October, that is). Anyway, for this shave, I give it an Outta This World Excellent.

    I do like the Fat, especially now that I am up to a minute in loading. Helps me appreciate it more.

    As we have a look at the June survey for the first time, I see that "Do It My Way" is deadlocked with "Foul Up My Survey Reports" at 8 votes each. Not too far behind, but I don't see a challenge at this point is "Ice Cream, Cookies and Onion Rings" with 5.

    I think everyone should have a thesaurus on their bookshelf.....just like everyone should have a Stoylin Glacial(soap and/or A.S.)in the summer.
