    Greetings,

Up with the larks again this morning.

Carrying on with my Russian Made DE Blade run...

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Its been a while since i last used the efficient Yaqi katana of which i will be using with all my shave sets this week...The Voskhod T.C. blade i find gets smoother with each outing they ain't the most aggressive Russian made blade for me but it matched together perfectly with the assertive katana making a smooth efficient duo...The Katana is one of the very few razors i found my shaving angle after the first 5-7 seconds feeling comfortable shaving with it throughout the shave.

What i like about the Katana is the audio feedback which tells me it's cutting through my stubble and i have found the right shaving angle...The efficiency of this razor is amazing good i was very near BBS smooth after the second pass on both my face & head shave but carried on just for the sheer pleasure of the shave & to use up the remaining wonderful lather the Vitos Vegetale soap had provided....A comfortable impressive performance from the 1/2' Voskhod.

A enjoyable close comfortable BBS face & head shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of P&G ~ Old Spice Original ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Buy some dollar store imitation Brut and put in a few generous squirts.

If you like Brut, you will get heavenly relief on that scorching day.

If your aroma offends the Joe Namath haters, they will live because the Glorious Stank will dissipate soon enough.

A coworker of mine got the ‘deluxe’ Traeger loaded up. Incredible temp control that he runs from in the house with his phone. He likes it.

I’ve tasted his food. Good moist results, but I like more smoke flavor than he is getting.

I’d love to have a Lang reverse flow cooker but would really hate to have to tend fire on a stick burner all day.

I use a 36" Lang. The reverse flow really helps to even the temps across the cooking surface, just a little hotter near the firebox. It holds temp really well but needs to eat about every hour and a half. I've tried loading more fuel to get longer cook time between fueling but then I have to pinch the dampers down so much I have a dirty fire the whole time. I'm a smoker that doesn't want to see the smoke.

    DE Shave # 342

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Gillette SS Red Tip TTO (1959 E-1)
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Strike Gold Shave Minion 24 mm Badger
Lather: Arianna & Evans Asian Plum
    Aftershave: B & M Reserve Spice
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balmq
Excellent sunny Saturday morning shave. I just finished the sample of Asian Plum as the den reduction project continues. It has been one year since I purchased a shaving soap product.

I received a very nice shave with the birth year Red Tip. Three passes of relaxing pleasure. I have not missed a day with a shave in over 3.5 years.

Today brings a day of leisure. My son’s soccer game, an afternoon fishing with friends on the Great South Bay and a BBQ. Have a great day gentlemen.
