Saturday's Shave

Early afternoon shave today after a few hours cutting grass and working in the yard. The Glacial Satsuma did a great job cooling me down afterwards though.

Yesterday, I received several razors from two lots I won from the same seller. The Canadian Tech (Travel Tech?) was up to bat for today's shave. It's been a while since I've used a Tech, so it took a short while to find the sweet spot. Overall, the razor provided a fine shave, but not quite with the same efficiency I've been getting from the modern RazoRock offerings I've been using the past few months. This is also my first non-USA made Gillette. In the end, it was a comfortable shave with no irritation or mishaps.




On another note, Ethan's high school graduation went very well last night. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.
Here's a pic of me with the graduate. By the way, the guy over my left shoulder photo bombed almost every photo we took. If we moved camera angles, he moved as well.

Well I just pulled a Joe @Trigger and won a soap and splash set off a youtube channel I had been watching. I normally don't enter their contests but was curious about this one and have the set coming to me now. They say it's colder than Cryogen...........just kidding

Thanks Jim, I do like my synthetic cooling ws23 powder I have and can add to whatever I want and this has the Koolada synthetic cooling agent. It's a perfect way to get a freeze that doesn't effect any scent used.

 

Thank you Jim. I will write something up on the different WR gaps. There is a huge thread on DFS discussing the WR2 blade gaps.

 

I have Terrorade from B&M. I really enjoy it when I remember to use it. I should keep it out on the vanity so it gets used more often.
