    Good morning from merry Maryland!

    This is my very first travel shave in many years.

    Van der Hagen TTO razor
    Rockwell DE Blade (?)
    Barbury synthetic brush
    Tabac Shave Stick
    Old Spice P/G AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Whiskers: 34 hrs

    The hotel has a small gym so I decided to go on the treadmill for 45 min to go 2 miles. Their continental breakfast was nothing to write home about, but this is not a 5 star luxury hotel.

    Anyway on with the shave.
    I have to state that this is a decent travel setup. The brush has decent backbone and it really makes a nice lather. Some of you don't like Tabac, but it gives a great, slick lather and I do like the scent. Lucky me! Lol! Two passes with buffing gave me an IBSS. If the blade was fresh, then I probably would have had at least a BBS - shave. Applied the alum and did get some slight feedback. Doused myself with the Old Spice and I am happy with the shave. Looking forward to this afternoon's wedding. I like that the reception and the wedding are at the same venue. Also, I like that the whole thing ends at 5pm so I can get back to the hotel and relax. Hey, maybe I can hit the treadmill again. Lol! Anyway, I will take some pictures and download some for you guys. Have a great day!
