Thanks Charlie! Living in NY almost all of my life, I am used to it. On my return trip, I decided to go straight through Baltimore on Md 40 instead of bypassing going through the Ft. McHenry Tunnel. There were some interesting residences and I did pass John Hopkins Med. Center before I got on I-95 North. The trip was fine until I got into Brooklyn and that's when the traffic was like a parking lot at 2:30 pm. I was note expecting that traffic before the main rush hour.

 

Thanks Gary! I have another nephew that was at the wedding and I said that I would try to see him and his wife next year in Charlotte, NC. Of course, I would have to make a pitstop in Maryland to see the newly married couple as well.

I decided to shave tonight because there's a good possibility that I may be called to work tomorrow. Also, it has been 36 hrs since I shaved.

Proraso Green SS and AS

Whiskers: 36 hrs.



The shave went well. Got a BBS shave on a new blade. The Proraso SS and AS gave me a nice refreshing pick me up. Good night fellas.

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap With Mint Extracts. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Vie-Long Horsehair.
Face Lather.
Lather: Vie-Long Shave Stick.
Blade: Voskhod T.C. 'Snapped in 1/2'. (D1)
Razor: Yaqi Katana.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils +3 Menthol Crystals, Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./ Lidl Cien Aqua ASL.

A wonderful early morning shave....I've mentioned before, i've taught myself never to judge/doubt a shaving soap or cream because of it's cheap price tag, the vast majority of my shave set ups contain inexpensive soaps & creams which have all performed with satisfactory results. The Vie- Long shave stick is absolutely superb, not just for it's price tag, but most importantly for it's performance & post shave feel.

A Enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Lidl Cien Aqua ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
