    I missed my shave this morning, so it was a rare evening shave for me tonight. I thought about just waiting until tomorrow but I really just needed a shower and shave to relax in order to wind down from a rather irritating day.

    A wrench in the works began the shave however. I had planned on using the Rockwell 6C, but as I was tightening the handle, it just kept spinning when it reached the baseplate. I believe the post is stripped (and/or perhaps the threading inside the handle is as well). This is rather disappointing to say the least.

    So, I went to the bench and called up the Game Changer 68OC to get the job done and it did a great job pinch hitting. The Duke 2 whipped up a slick and fragrant DRH Lavender lather and 2 passes was all it took for a relaxing and comfortable shave.

    Well, I hope it is the threads in the handle and not on the baseplate post...lots of handles in your den.

    Just by looking at it, the post threads seems to be stripped. It looks strange, as if you were to take a pair of pliers and squeeze down on a screw (opposite sides look flat compared to the rest). I cannot get a good enough look into the handle threads.
