I'm sick I tell you ! Ronson's are safe to bid on now You know if you want it, you should bid on it. No hard feelings. I've been outbid many times
Rarest of the DeHavens seems to be this Model No.4 (1936). NOS in shipper but packed with a blade for the No. 3. Certainly one of Dehaven's downfalls was changing blade types three times during their brief production period. Sent from my Google Chromebook Pixel (2015) using Tapatalk
When I’m the high bidder, I usually get sniped at the last second, unfortunately. My pockets only go so deep The last two auctions that I won were accidental. The price had gone higher than I wanted, so I bid again just to drive up the price (not by too much). They both stuck however.
I received some soap i traded for. These are all 1oz in which i traded 1oz of mine. Perfect for me to dwindle what i have but at the same time get something new to me. 345 soap co -White buffalo Paa -Awesome sauce -Outdoorsman Henri et Victoria -Cognac and Cuban Cigars Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lucky guy!! The Ronson Razors seem to be popular. I’m watching a Schick Type F now, but it’s already up to $285. Too rich for my blood.
Hmmm i must of been asleep of the wheel. Ive been hunting for one. Of course at a reasonable price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lol and yeah. I wasnt asleep at the wheel, i looked and decided “ i’ll just get off at the next exit lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Most I've seen have been bid considerably north of $100. Not willing to wait for a $35 one just because it's what someone else paid for theirs years ago. To each there own
You prompted me to search through my old posts since I couldn’t remember what I paid for a Ronson in a case with a few blades. $20 in 2015. I suppose I should get it out and shave with it since it’s value has increased.
Did you get an instruction sheet? I’m wondering if it makes a difference which way you spin the stropping roller. I’m guessing away from the edge rather than towards the edge.
I'd have to charge you for that extra info that you didn't get in your screaming deal 6 years ago Obviously it would need to go the direction that turned the wheel away from rather than into the blade
I’ve got five blades and only one might be usable. The proprietary blades are notched at the ends so you can’t pop a modern blade in. If you trim a modern blade enough to make it fit then you end up with two half blades. You might be able to make them work but it appears that there would be a little more exposure.
