Back from a hot Texas working weekend....mid 70s late last week, plenty of wind, and so much rain many places couldn't cut the grass for 2-3 weeks (ground saturated).....to now constant mid to high 90s, oh my! humid, stagnant wind as everything left from last week evaporates. Can't believe I'll say this....looking forward to a week or so when it's 95+ everyday (or more), 5% chance of rain for the foreseeable 2 months (!), and sub 50% humidity with nice southerly winds!
Needed a nice cool refreshing shave...reached for ZM's The Wanderer, made for an awesome face lather this morning with a Zenith boar, knot has plenty of backbone, massage and scritch, but still soft enough to splay without creating airborne aeration at the tips (like some synthetics do). Fun 2.5 pass whisker mow using this smooth shaving, easy handling kamisori. I use all sorts of grips on this razor, sometimes holding like 'you are supposed to', other times just like a whittling knife (by the handle), and even times just using finger tips on the spine. No crimson issues, dolphin smooth results. My usual finish....PAA's after shave balm then an overdosing of the matching Zingari Man Recovery Splash.
