Which Clix head is that and what makes it a Tech? Neither of the Clix designs I have are Tech clones. Neither is the Star of course but it's a lot closer in geometry. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
Gillette wasn't the only one making tech razors. the Clix is considered a tech style razor, from what I've read. Clix were made in the 1940s by the Conrad Razor Blade co of NY .They produced Tech style DE razors with gun metal caps and plastic handles and Gillette type Bakelite safety bar guides .
No idea what that means but unless you have a different head I certainly wouldn't confuse the two. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
Other companies made tech style razors. even today's Feather three piece is considered a tech style razor.
Yes it is. As is the Star one could argue. I don't see that the Clix is in the same category. The wartime Clix EZ-Flo was based not on the Tech but on the Conrad patent for the Barbasol which dates to 1934 (Clix was a Conrad brand). Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
This is what I'm going by. Clix on the left, Gillette on the right. Except for slightly different designs, almost the same. Guessing Clix got their idea from Gillette. Sent from my cp3648AT using Tapatalk
