You can Xpect (sic) a great lather from XPEC.
The PJ2, while a bit small for my liking, nevertheless stepped up to the plate and hit a home run.

New Super Professional blade inserted in my Feather AC and, ladies and germs,
there is no sharper blade on this planet. Take that to the bank.
Cheeks and jawline super-smooth, and the neck is very good, despite the blade
getting may attention in two places. Some red, but nothing gushing.
Thayer's Medicated WH followed by a dab of Stirling Unscented ASB (Glacial).

Here's the scoop on this juice. Discontinued, but fragrancebuycanada has stock at $41.00 + $5.00 S&H
If you are at all "Oud-Curious" I give this my absolute HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Smokey; Fruity; Slightly Barnyardy; and while for this price, it cannot possibly contain
real oud, the aroma chemicals replicate oud like no-other in this price range.
I just put another in my cart...not sure I'll pull the trigger, but maybe...:signs002:

Thanks Danny.....it is. Better in the colder weather, but cold aftershave does a nice job in swallowing the warmth of the soap in summertime.

You're saying you like it when your aftershave overloads? I suppose I do too, but keep it in my hand, not the sink.

I had a good Throwback Thursday shave this week. 0:40 to load the Razorock Lime Burst soap onto the Stoylin brush. I bloomed the soap a bit last night, and thus it was a little wetter than I like as I applied it. Didn't dry off all the way. It was close to invisible on the left cheek(similar to my Rise Invisible Gel tubes-yes, I still have a couple of those). 1st pass was fine except for some red "polka-dots" at NW Porcupine Alley. They didn't hurt, but you knew they were there. No problems on the 2nd pass. Good work down at Cactus Nation. The Osage Rubby-Dubby helped cool off the polka-dots, but not 100%. I'll have to give this one a Very Excellent.

Again another old spice shave, really been splurging this week on shaves because this is my last week home. I leave in 3 days for bootcamp so I’m getting the best out of it. Going with a 40s theme here today so I had to include the camels. I absolutely despise cigarettes but I figured it’ll go with this vintage aesthetic to match this shave. Busy day today. I have to be in Atlanta at meps at 2:00 today so I won’t be doing much replying today unfortunately. Other then that though, y’all have a great Thursday!

Lunch was a half pound burger with BBQ sauce, lettuce, and tomato with steak fries. Dessert was tartufo. It is ice cream with raspberry sauce that is enveloped in a chocolate shell with a nice helping of whipped cream on top. You know that ice cream is a good way to finish a meal.

    Feather Blade
    Simpson T3 Trafalgar brush
    Simpsons Shaving Cream
    Cremo Bourbon and Oak EdT

All around awesome shave this morning. Great lather and three smooth passes....oh yeah. What more could you ask for?

The Colibri 1.10mm base plate seems to be the go to plate out of the set. I also enjoy the 1.30 OC plate with a couple of days growth.

Finished the shave off in the usual manner.

Hope everyone has a great day.

    Shave on!
