I got pretty traditional this Father's Day morning, using Aqua Velva for the aftershave(but I don't have a son to flip it to, like it's done in that classic AV ad.) Opened with Gillette Foamy Original once again. Got a little too much on, so I had to work with the extra load. In that sense, it was like using shave soap and a brush. Is there a Gillette Foamy Shave Soap somewhere on this planet? Anyway, I got every area covered well. No cuts/Knicks. One pass. Back to the Aqua Velva.....a little too much came out again. Think 3 Stooges-NIIIIIIIIIIAGGGRA FALLS!. Good shave overall-Super Duper Excellent.

Thanks Gary...classic for Dad's day. This coming week, I have some...er....INTERESTING combinations to try. I'll be firing up that Bunsen Burner in @Trigger's Chemistry lab :) prior to the shave "experiments".

That sometimes happens to me too....I try not to "bury" things out of sight. By the way, I checked Nobleman......aaah, too expensive for me(but I'm sure it's great). Course I did spend $60 for the 2 Bill Neumann aftershaves, but I won't go that high again.

the nobleman is good stuff,on par with most other creams in it's range, trumper, truefitt etc.I like having a more obscure Brit product around.everyone has used or tried tobs and related ..:)

    Happy Father's Day

I have enjoyed a nice relaxing morning at home. I got text messages from the girls first thing wishing me a Happy Father's Day. We will have a FaceTime call this evening. I decided to reward myself by using "The Dead Sea" for today's shave. The stuff just smells amazing. Three passes with the Merica/Yates razor caught the baby with ease. Swati and I are going out for relaxing stroll and grab a late lunch. Unfortunately we both have a couple of hours of work to complete this afternoon. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and Happy Father's Day to those that celebrate.
