That is some jluc level colour matching, Clint! Is the Glacial splash much colder than a regular mentholated Stirling splash?

A very good message, Jim. Yup, TTT... some say that even applies to Williams...:happy097:

Which plates do you have Jason? I have the D, E and F in the SB and a D Open Comb. The E is probably my least favorite of the bunch. It feels like the F plate but is no more efficient than the D plate. The D OC has more blade feel and is a touch more efficient than the D SB

Nice family photo, Gary. Is that '47 Jr the same as a Canadian Rocket?

Thank you Jason. I just got lucky on the matching. I am not sure I have tried a mentholated Stirling aftershave. This one is much colder than the soap.

I only ordered the D SB when I got the razor (thanks again, Dave). I find it outstanding, to be honest. Smooth and efficient. I had a similar bet with Jim and am thinking of adding a few plates. An OC for sure. Was thinking of the F SB as well... wasn't going to go less aggressive than the D, but was wondering what Danny thought of it.

Given that the 'unlabelled' soaps and splashes came out within the same time period that TFS ended up making new soaps for Fine, I wonder if these unlabelled soaps from Italy are similar or even test formulas. Interesting to see if they put a label on one eventually.

thank you Jason.the 48 crat jr uses the u.s superspeed type handle but has the solid 430030 baseplate like yours and my canadian rocket, wich is the same as the 1949 brit aristocrat jr.the shave is smooth and really efficient.the two are definitely similar shave wise with our later rocket version having better balance(less head heavy). 1948 Aristcrat Junior Set No48 beschriftet Logo.jpg 1949 (U2) Aristocrat jr.jpg

Thanks Joe....I'd have to say the Bill Neumann A.S. prevented something bad from turning worse. Was pleased in general, though.

We don't have any newcomers to traditional wetshaving actively participating in the thread right now but they may be lurking. Blaming our tools isn't what we're about.

I've found the trick for me with Williams is to load the heck out of it. It takes a lot to overcome the mineral content in my water.

We decided on a little midweek getaway. A couple of days in Estes Park. Only about an hour and a half from home but it's away from home.
