As long as it is air popped, I am down with it. With long videos, I chop the time up so that I am not looking at the entire vid in one sitting.

108°F is no joke! Great cooling shave Gary! In my lifetime, the highest temperature that I can remember was 104°F when I was a young whippersnapper living in Brooklyn ( borough of NYC). It was extremely hot. I remember drinking plenty of water and not doing much of anything. We lived in an apartment and had maybe one fan. We were poor and could not afford an air conditioner.

Thanks Gary..I'll be looking into it this week, and you're right about change. Maybe make new friends, or "reunite" with some of the Gold's "alumni".

OK fellas, my memory escapes me....I just ordered a Rocky Mtn.Barber Co. shaving cream-one of you said you didn't care for it that much. It appears to have good "skin food" or "natural" ingredients. I got the Barbershop. Which one of you gave me the average review?

I decided to shave this evening so that I can have a no shave day tomorrow so that I can truly have an end of the month shave. With this shave, I am only 2 shaves shy of equaling my 280 traditional straight shaves. That's 558 open blade shaves. I want to end the month shaving with one of my straights. It won't be Artie or Max. It will be one of my vintage straights.

Let's get on with my shave review. I picked the RR XX shaving soap because I haven't used it in awhile. It is a very light, clean and fresh scent so that I it won't interefere with any aftershave. Evan's brush does a great job making a very nice, creamy, slick and wet lather. Two passes gave me a near BBS shave. Did get a very tiny weep on my chin during my first pass. I just dotted my chin with the alum and it disappeared without a trace. I probably could have hit it just with cold water to get the same result. Alum, Witch hazel and then the Aqua Velva was applied to top this nice comfortable shave. As you can see, I will need to get another bottle of the AV soon. There was very little feedback from the alum so it really was a close, comfortable shave. Have a nice evening guys!

I just realized that Myles finished one week of Marine Corps basic training. I know that he can't respond. However, I am praying that you continue to perservere over the next few months. Stay strong my young friend.
