Gents, I have some great news to share. After a battery of tests and provider visits this week, my Bride received an excellent report. She's in deep remission and has regained normal heart function. We are blessed and simply couldn't ask for better news. She may require a procedure next week to address a swallowing issue. We plan to stay in MN until this is completed. It could easily add a week or more to our schedule, but that's fine with us.

We've had fun visiting some friends, and we even stopped by the hospital's transplant unit today. The staff recognized me (I caused them a fair amount of trouble last summer), but most didn't recognize Kathy because she looked so good compared to when they last saw her. It was so cool to see everyone and thank them again. I call them our A Team. We'll always have a special place in our hearts for this wonderful group of folks.

My heart sank momentarily when I saw they had removed the freezer with the visitor...er...patient ice cream cups. They moved it!!!! I looked around until I found it. I calmed down shortly thereafter. :)

We Praise the Lord for Kathy's progress and for all the well wishes and prayers from our 30DC family! Thank you all!

    Greetings,

    Vintage SE razor Week.

A new shave set up to start the weekend...After a long run with my DE razors I'm making this a vintage SE razor week as it's been a while since i added them to my razor rotation.

Starting with the Micromatic OC...Like my other vintage SE razors my shaving angle is almost sliding flat against the skin using short strokes with each pass. The Gem Micromatic OC is the most efficient of all my vintage SE razors that mows down my stubble with effortless ease showing no mercy....However as with any razor i shave with regardless if it's aggressive or non-aggressive, respect good technique shaving confidence, & no pressure is essential.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

My face is feeling cool & super smooth.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

    Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 969

So I got my Ugly Duckling Aristocrat back that was on loan and was curious to use it in comparison to the nicer model I had got in a Lot purchase. The nicer condition one was prettier but while a nice shave, didn't seem as smooth and efficient. I have to say that after today's shave, I was puzzled. It shaves so much better than the nicer model. After the shave I did a comparison and they look identical to me. Is it all in my head ? Is it the extra wear on the Ugly Duckling ? I don't know but I guess I'll keep the better shave than I will the better looking model. Makes me leery of sending it off for a makeover too as it would affect the shave. Guess I'll keep it and love it the way it is. Have a great day Guys !!

Charlie, you think too hard at times.

You have a small package on your way from Alabama. If you need the tracking number let me know. I just hope it doesn't melt before you get home. ;)
