went with the Engels blade. Refreshed using the Welsh Slates and ended with Surgical Black Ark. This razor held no prisoners and swept away whiskers without remorse. Mildly irritated skin but I consider this shave a success.
Soap was Lisa’s Natural Absinthe scented and two band badger brush from @Jayaruh
    Happy shaves!

    So William,
There are also some strong links between Scotland and Sweden as well:

    https://electricscotland.com/history/sweden/18.htm

    https://www.google.se/amp/s/www.the...similarities-between-sweden-and-scotland/?amp

Could also be my attraction to Scotland, visited your Country about 20 times, not for playing golf…

So the circle is closed: Scotland- Germany- Sweden

    Regards
    Hans

Here’s an old image, but the Sunday shave was almost the same, Joseph Rodgers ivory chopper, Floris 89 cream (but splash). Great vintage Sheffield razors made by one of the best.

Todays shave was with a Newly Acquired, and Honed razor. I had a very smooth and very loud shave, with zero issues, that mowed through 1 weeks growth, like it wasn't there. A fine shaving razor. This one will be used for rare occasions, because I don't want to mess with its pretty looks. A very well built post JMP razor by Filarmonica.

Razor- Filarmonica 13 "Doble Temple" "Muleta Sello Oro"
Brush- B400 by @twhite , Omega Boar knot
    Soap- AOS Peppermint
Aftershave- Avon Spicy. Willys Jeep decanter.

I’ve always wanted a Joseph Rodgers - thanks for reminding me of that :happy097:

By sheer coincidence I pulled out my swoopy looking John & William Ragg with similar lines and ivory shoes for today’s shave :happy036:

    Savile Row 3824 Silvertip Badger

Monday morning shave, both have been honed lately. Unfortunately the Klas to the left was not sharp enough. However for the second pass the EDV Neiström to the right was excellent. So go for a Shapton 2K. Could be the reason why some of my Sheffield razors are not sharp enough?

From what I think I know, it was probably made in the 1850’s, but some fun conversations with the 1776 date and the style of blade.

Took this unbranded razor to the Welsh Slates to see what the edge difference felt like compared to Arkies or Wesl Slates then Surgical black. Definitely felt like a smoother shave and my skin didn’t get much irritation. Surprised by the results.
Soap was Maggards Tobacco and Leather
    Brush was white horse knot.
    A/S: Witch hazel with menthol
