Nice shave, Joe!

 

Lovely shave, photo and recap as usual, Barry! Hope the work situation has resolved for you!

 

Facon DE shavette
Astra SP 1/2 (fresh)
Hembree Delrin brush with synthetic knot
Soap Commander Honor shave soap
Royal Copenhagen cologne

I thinned the Soap Commander down this morning. Man is that a hard habit to break. I like my soap thick but I do see the benefit of the thinner soap for the straight shaves.

I completed two passes with the Facon shavette....South and North...with no blood loss. The shavette is easier for me to maneuver and the motions were a little easier this morning. The Facon is a cheap razor but man does it perform well. The alum was a little warm in a few spots but I know that will improve.

Finish the shave off in the usual way. Back to work and man that three day weekend was nice. I envy our MOLC guys.

Happy Tuesday. I could use another day off to recover from the long weekend. Unfortunately, I have to doctor's appointments today. At least I was able to get in a relaxing shave to start the work week. The Citron Glacial was welcome on a Hot ATL morning. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Not sure where you are located.....but found several bulk options available via a cursory search. Amazon, Razor Blade Co (I've used before with no issues, as have several here). HTH.

i bought the cream to see if i like the scent, and i loved it. now i am waiting it to finish so i ll start my soap

 

Great shave Joseph! I don't feel the need to chase the BBS with straights any longer because I get very close to it after 2 passes, although some people might rate my shave as a BBS. It really is subjective. Personally,, getting a great shave using a straight without cutting myself and not getting any irritation is my goal. Getting a BBS is the cherry on the top, but I don't need one to be satisfied with a shave.
