1st run with this flat handle single edge that takes an Injector blade with no issues what so ever. It's a mild shaver but gave a nice comfortable and close shave with attention to angle. Felt like a mild Schick Injector razor. Gonna be a long and wet day for work today. Have a fun day guys !!

Happy Thursday Everyone. @jgreenepa Jeff inspired me to pull out the Karve for a few days. So I decided to go with the D SB plate which is my favorite. The big boar face lathered the cream with ease. Three passes and touch ups ended in an automatic drama free BBS shave. I really enjoy using the Karve Razor. A splash of Grand Bay Rum aftershave and I am off to a client site for the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

2.5 pass DFS+. Nice relaxing shave today. Almost could call this a BBS- result, but missed a patch on the lower right neck nemesis. The HT 8000 saw the usual routine of linen and bridle leather strop immediately before shaving, gave it a very smooth albeit extremely keen edge. No nicks or shenanigans though. PAA's CK6 formula and Jayaruh's handiwork loaded with a synthetic....awesome CK6 performance, yogurty creamy slick, if not slicker, than anything in my den. The soap aroma is definitely as it's labeled, lots of sandalwood, but with a slight hint of powder. A little face pampering with the slightly cooling sensation of mentholated after shave balm. Went off the path a bit of matching the soap and cologne for the day, AoS's Sandalwood and Cypress was crying for some attention. It is a very nice fragrance, quite woodsy aroma blend of the two, but has a hint of dark (musk?) & powder to round it out. Excellent dry down without much change on my skin chemistry. Wifey super favorite. Lasts all day and into the evening.

July Focus

A friend on another forum was asking about this shave paste, so I packed him up a sample
and used it myself this morning.
I was careful to really hydrate it and was rewarded with an extremely slick lather.
The same Feather Super Professional resides in my AC and is still going strong.
This razor is quite easy to use and combined with the ultra-keen edge of the FS blade,
one, with the proper technique, is assured of a very close shave.
Lower neck would still fail the cotton ball test...
I am not sure I will ever achieve a better result.
The fragrance today is another middle-eastern scent from the house of Al Haramain:


The bottle is unique and truly stunning, albeit awkward to hold whilst spraying.

This morning I enjoyed a 4 am two passer with the Gillette NEW SC, a new Feather blade, my 30 DC LE brush, and Tabac. My kisser is officially smooth and boo boo free.

I then acompanied my Bride on an early MN morning walk to the hospital where she's currently having some minor surgery. The surgical team is fantastic here. We are blessed. Looks like she'll be admitted for the night.
