Another Aust shave, albeit two passes and done.
Took a finger-full of the AoS cream and smeared it onto my face and with the soaked
Milk Churn used mostly paintbrush strokes to create the lather.
The passes were WTG/XTG, eschewing the ATG pass altogether.
Out the door to visit my mother and supervise the delivery of a recliner.
Replacing the lift chair I just got her, after she was nearly thrown out of it.
Luckily, a staff member rescued her in the nick of time.
No more remote control for her.
Fragrance on this rainy, cloudy day is a wonderful, smokey campfire scent, with a fruity opening.

Thank you Blair. I do enjoy shaving with this Japanese razor. I guess you are happy with the cooler temperatures, even if you may have just put the “iettaon it.

Wonderful progress with the fright Danny. Yes, being respectful of the blade with a slow and steady approach will reward you with many great shaves. Enjoy your day.

I’ll have to catch the lame another day.

My biggest concern on stunt shaving with DE’s was blade flex.

Neil @NCoxSTL rigged one on a carriage bolt one time. The thing had to shimmy like crazy.

Got a La-z-Boy for my Dad once.

    Comfortable chair.

I would have thought they would be better at product support than they were.
    :(

Hope things work out better in your case this time.

My Kampfe Bros. STAR 1901 award winning razor with a Perssona Gem blade. Some Willams whipped up with an Ever Ready 100 re-knoted with a synthetic knot, in another old hand thrown mug.
I did a 3 pass shave both head and face.
Smelling like I just walked out of a early 1900's cat house.
    Well.....

Me, using my DEvette so much only needing one pass to get very nice. I've forgotten that on blood thinners the skin will weep causing the veins close to the surface to varicose and look awful when going over to many times.
Won't be noticeable in a hour or so.
It will be ok in a day or two, so no biggie. Of course it's worse on the neck.
    Anyway ....
A mild shaver and other than the blood thinner thing I'm good for the day.

    Enjoy!

Not the best of shaves this morning, but it was all right. A cut at S.Porcupine Alley forced me to focus on that during almost the entire shave. (Well, except for the cheeks and sideburn areas, which came out well-same for N.Porcupine, and all of Cactus Nation). The aftershave(Agua Lavenda) calmed down the cut a bit. It is indeed a nice scent. I'll need to watch for that cut area tomorrow. Will be easy should some of that redness remain. Pretty Excellent.

Nice shave, pic and gear Barry! Earlier in my wetshaving journey, I always chased the BBS and usually got it. Now, it is not so important for me to have one. I am satisfied with a near BBS shave with 2 passes and no pickups. Enjoy your day!

Thank you, Joe... Some people are on an obsessional quest to achieve a BBS shave with every shave, which results in causing unnecessary irritation or cuts, pointing the blame on the shaving tools, rather than themselves. I like your shaving philosophy, comfortable near BBS shaves are the way forward. Chasing perfection is pointless, but each to their own. Enjoy your day my friend. Take care, Yours-Barry.

Wonderful shave Jim! I have used my 2 Christmas themed soaps this month. However, I think that I may use the Christmas Eve and the Frankincense and Myrrh again this month.
