    Thanks, Joe!
I'll use each of my Christmas themed soaps once then I'll move on to my usual randomness.

Good morning from sunny, hot Florida. Here is a view from our accommodations for the upcoming week.

Yesterday was a long day. We had an early flight out of LGA to Tampa. A quick trip north to go through my father’s storage unit and then to bring anything we decided to keep to our recently acquired storage unit. Following lunch a four hour drive southeast to Hillisboro Beach. As a result, I did not shave for the first time daily in three and half years. I guess, Dave, @Dave in KY, is the new Ironman of the 30DC.

This morning’s shave, variety for the weekend with the Proraso until Monday when the July Just One Soap Weekdays continues with the Dr. Jon’s Gravity. I had a comfortable three pass shave. I do enjoy the Proraso cream which leaves my face feeling wonderful. I usually bin my blade after the fifth shave, however, I will bin this one now.

Hope you have a great day gentlemen.

Excellent shave Joe. Why a second pass of a BBS on the first? :yoda

Superb shave Jason. I would like to get the FA eventually, however, longevity is a concern. I do like a quality scent to last longer.

    That is true. Lol!

My first pass was a BBS minus. I could have stopped at the one pass, but I always do a minimum of 2 passes.

My rating system is the following in descending order:

BBS passing cotton ball test (epic) Grade A+
    BBS Grade A
    near BBS Grade A-
    BBS- / IBSS++ Grade B+
    IBSS+ Grade B
    IBSS Grade B-
    DFS Grade C+
    SAS Grade C

Great lather this morning courtesy of the MrEE LE brush.

I complete two passes on the cheeks and three on the neck. I apparently had a set down error on the check in front of my right ear. Yes......we have a weeper. I did not even feel it but noticed some red stuff accumulating while working on the neck. It will be okay. As dad used to say......
    It will grow back. :D

I hope everyone has a great day and weekend.

I always find the GEM PTFE blades leave a really lovely finish, but you need to trust your handy work and allow the skin to relax!

Very nice shave, setup and pic Danny! That area can be tricky for newbies. I have nicked my earlobes because of setdown lapses. I have learned to place the face of the blade in an oblique position so I can get a better view. It's also why I do it when I start at the top of my sideburns to prevent nicking the top of the ear. To me, it's making my razor as I am shaving with a DE slant. You should be proud that you have been doing well with your straight shaves.

Happy Saturday Everyone. It has been a busy morning around the household. Since Maya is visiting for the weekend she had a request for dinner. So, I managed to get the Big Green Egg fired up and put on the baby back ribs. The heat and humidity left me a sweaty mess so I reached for the Stirling Glacial Citron. The face freeze was just the ticket. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. Now back to the kitchen to fix all the sides. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.
