    July Focus
    [IMG]
    AoS Peppermint~~Simpson PJ2~~Gustave Lalune~~Layton Exclusif
Moving straight ahead with this month's focus, I repeated yesterday's Lalune.
    I was also
focused in a proper stropping of said razor, careful not to lift the spine.
I hang my strops at about eye-level rather than below the waist.
The stropping motion is more of an angled up and down, rather than in and out.
For me, it's easier to keep the edge from curling up.
Lather was an AoS cream, which is such a wonderful, refreshing product.
The peppermint smell exactly like a candy cane, right down to the sweetish accord.
Once again, I took a schmear (sic) of the product and applied it directly to my face.
The Persian Jar finished the job and created a very rich 'n slick lather.
Three passes; good neck work; no negatives to report.
FOTD is a juice from Parfums de Marley:

That's a lot of notes for a perfume. The result is a dark, spicy
    aroma.
Again, eschewing the neck area, sprayed rather to the corpus dilicdi. ;)

    Shavette Shave # 135

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: RenRen Shavette
    Blade: Perma-Sharp
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
Lather: Proraso Aloe and Vitamin E
    Aftershave: Stirling Sandalwood
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera

Sunday afternoon shave following a mid morning dip in the warm Atlantic waters and the pool.
I continued with the variety for the weekend by using the Proraso once again. I do enjoy this cream. I do not reach for it often, only about once a month, as I still have about 15 years worth of soaps in my den. I do enjoy using the mild scented soaps which always for many options regarding the accompanying aftershave and occasional EdT.

The shavette delivered a comfortable three pass shave without any incidents. The splash of Stirling Sandalwood added the excellent finishing touch. Stay tuned for today shave.

    Enjoy your Monday gentlemen.

Thank for the info. I would love to try that with the Sous Vide then smoker however SWMBO is not a big fan of the sous vide texture.
When I use the sous vide for my steaks, I leave hers out to do on the grill only.
