Lol! It is always great to see you! As far as the ladies, the exception was the waitress when I told her the coffee was from the bottom of the pot and she said it wasn't. I explained to her that the cup was bad. She was unapolagetic and came back with another cup. I said, "Thank you." She just gave me an unpleasant look. I took the high road and tipped her what I normally would for good service.

Wednesday July 21, 2021 Razor: WSC Winner Blade: Wizamet (2) Brush: Hembree Delrin Cashmere Soap: Vintage Williams AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 AS 2: Vintage Vintage Williams Aqua Velva Fragrance: Scuderia Ferrari Black Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 987 I have to say I don't care for the feel of the shave from this razor while shaving but it does deliver the goods. Nothing to do with the slickness needed as it doesn't get much slicker than Vintage Williams. I still say it feels like a heavier Henson razor in SS to me. Perhaps I will get more accustomed to it as time goes by. It just makes me want to grab something else most times rather than it. Where it is a Winner is the results and the price for a SS Razor today. The @Hembree Industries brush is much better with the Cashmere knot for me now. Have a great day everyone !
SOTD WEDNESDAY MORNING, JULY 21, 2021 This morning I was in a peppermint mood, so I grabbed the TOOBS Peppermint Shave Cream and had at it. My Frederick Reynolds Rattler grind was lonely, so I paired it with my 1920 Gillette Big Fellow hoping for a cool and refreshing shave. Unfortunately, that was not to be the case. The MrEE Monster Tuxedo Synth generated a decent lather, but I must say that the post shave feel was very disappointing. MWF really spoils one for other soaps and definitely for this cream. Three mug passes with Freddy and two dome passes with the Big Fellow left me very smooth, but I will say the post shave feel from this cream was drying and thus very disappointing. This cream will be going to my grandson. RAZOR: Frederick Reynolds Rattler Grind 5/8 (Mug), Gillette Big Fellow (Dome) BLADE: Feather DE PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil BRUSH: MrEE Aluminum Monster Tuxedo Synth CREAM: TOOBS Peppermint POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with PAA Frostbyte AS Splash and Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.
July 21, 2021 Henson AL13 Gillette 7 O’clock Black Simpson CH2 Synthetic Antica Barberia de Barrio Shave Soap Antica Barberia de Barrio Principe Real Aftershave Happy Hump Day Everyone. Since I have a busy day ahead, the relaxing shave was a great way to start the day. I reached for Antica Barberia de Barrio soap and aftershave this morning. Both the soap and the aftershave open with citrus notes over a woody and patchouli base. The scent of the soap filled the room and really added to the shave. The performance of the soap is even better than the scent. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Day.
