***Headshave: Same setup except I used the G E Jones Shakesharp razor ( not pictured ).***
I decided to go with a classic straight shave today. Lately, I have increased the hydration with my lathers and I have been getting great results. It's not that my lathers weren't hydrated, but I just decided to tweak them a bit. The JR #280 is quite delightful in making lathers. It made a nice, slick and silky lather.
My smaller C-Mon razor is still very sharp that it made quick work with my stubble. WTG, ATG and a half pass gave me a wonderful BBS shave without incident.
I still can't believe that I got this shave ready razor on Fleabay for 25 dollars. It really shaves like a dream.
My headshave was with my tried and true ShakeSharp. It really is my best razor for headshaving. With 3 passes and minor touchups, I always get a cueball smooth shave and today was no exception. Thanks
@jgreenepa Jeff for being so generous with this razor.
Finished my shaves in the usual manner. Did get some feedback from the alum on the nape of my neck and on my neck, but it wasn't a yowza moment. I was heavy-handed with the Old Spice, but it is ok because the sillage does not last too long. Have an awesome day guys!
