    Took the opportunity to re-compare the 1924 with the Clog Pruf, switching the same blade back and forth. The CP feels better in the hand because of the longer handle but it cannot beat the '24 on smoothness and efficiency. I doubt that most SEs can (the efforts of @twhite are a definite exception).

    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (1)
    Razor: Gillette Styler
    Post: Omega Alum Block
    Post: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Balm: Proraso Green

    Razor: Gillette Fatboy adj E4, Mfg 1959 4th qtr, Well designed & built for that era of time, I like to use it, shaves well around 7.
    Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP black(5 tossed) Excellent blade, Sharp & Smoooth, reasonable longevity. Top tier.
    Soap: Gillette Pure, nice scent with excellent lather qualities. Easy to make nice lather IMO.
    Brush: Yaqi rainbow 26mm brown whiskers synthetic, Excellent lather generator + cloud like soft tips, nice scrub, great lather painter.
    Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
    Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
    Post shave: Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea with 2 drops of HA.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= [​IMG]excellent shave with my Gillette fatboy with a7oClock black.

    thank you Jim.:):eatdrink047:.my only frequently used one as well.i have a gold plated version ,the sheraton set that is used rarely.it's the same shave wise.i have never tried or owned a u.s oc aristocrat tto.;)
