  1. Very nice shaving session Barry! I like the Fine's performance, but my 2 soaps hardly have a scent and it is why I rarely use them. Have a great rest of the day!
  2. Thank you Jeff.

  4. Dave moved south in 86 when it was mostly Wawa and 7 Eleven fighting it out with just a few Cumberland Farms Stores. Love a Wawa Hoagie !! :happy093:
  5. Thanks Joe
  6. Fantastic shaves Jeff! I have to agree that straight is gorgeous. However, I want to say that the toe design is unlike any other so I want to call it a shark tip. Have a fantastic day!

  12. Call it any thing you want, Joe, except late for dinner! ;) It is easily head and shoulders above any other straight in my den. Although with this new pasted “Constroption “ I’ve ended up actually improving the edge on several of my razors! I’ve got a new Italian slate finisher on its way. I’ll be interested in how its edge will compare to my jasper stone. Glen Mercurio put me onto it! He’s been raving about his!

  13. Blair, they are beautiful, and unbelievable shavers! Vic besides being a master razorsmith is an incredible honemeister as Glen Mercurio will attest! I own two of his Fancy razors, and will probably pick up a monosteel as well. He uses 1095 for his edges and for the entire monosteel razor! It really holds an edge! He layers it with 15N20 for his Damascus blades.

  15. Looking forward to your thoughts on the Muramasa
  16. :signs001: Joe...I have to agree with your comments on the Fine soap, it's performance is excellent the scent does let it down slightly. That said i have mentioned before a scent of a shaving soap is the last issue for me the performance is, but the vast majority of people purchase purely because they like the scent if that makes any kind of sense...Have a safe great coming week my friend. Yours-Barry.
  17. Thank you Jeff...The Baili blades came with the razor, so far they are very impressive. Some Chinese shaving products don't get the credit they deserve....probably down to fear & ignorance. Take care, and have a safe coming week. Yours-Barry.
  18. Really? Duly noted I got a few of those to dig out. Thanks.

  19. I understand your view. However, a soap's performance is key to a great shave, but coupled with aromatherapy, it brings it over the top for me.

  20. I’m sure I will like it on the lower numbers. We will see what I think when I crank it up.
