Yates Hybrid vs. Fine Marvel/Polsilver (2). The underrated Marvel is another blade bender like the Yates. I prefer the additional feedback I get from the Yates but the Marvel is smooth and fairly close in efficiency though I'd give the Yates the edge.

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72-Mfg 2021, excellent mid range, excellent design + great results. Kind of carefree IMO.
Blade: Astra super stainless(1) excellent blade, Sharp & smooth with good longevity.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavada cream, very mild scent with great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 2 band badger barber pole handle, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, great scrub, great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG+ pickups.
Post: Witch hazel + Lavada cologne after shave + a dollop of Nivea balm + 2 drops of HA.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 + Astra SS blade.

I love that Yaqi rainbow brush handle and really want one, but they don't offer it in a badger knot option. I may have to buy one and just re-knot it.

 

That's always an option.

 

Repeat performance with the PAL Injecto-Matic. It’s just a fabulous razor and one of the closest shaves you can get - period.

I ran out of soaps and found some Tabac in the back of the closet. It must have been there a long time as the aroma was very mild. I’m sure there is some technique I need to learn using a stick but it did the job and did it well. Great shave

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather : OSP Grapefruit & Menthol Shaving Cream.
Blade: Baili Platinum +.(D2)
Razor: Baili BD191.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. +3 Menthol Crystals. Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Alcolado Glacial Mentholated Splash Lotion./Nivea Men Sensitive Cooling PSB.

Early morning shave,

Last outing of the Baili Platinum + blade which has surprised me with it's smooth efficiency both the Baili razor & blade duo have performed wonderfully throughout the week with no issues....

The OSP Grapefruit & Menthol cream is great wake up call to my face sensors first thing on the morning...Only a small amount is required to get a luxurious lather with a very nice citrusy scent and plenty of menthol goodness leaving an excellent post shave feel.

A Enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Sensitive Cooling PSB.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's B-3 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Parker Adjustable Injector Razor with a Parker Injector Razor Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
