First shave with this brush. Performance was amazing. Easily generated enough lather for three passes. Great flow-through and super soft face feel. Definitely a keeper!

Shave #5 on this Filarmonica. Very Smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. I decided to break out the Mentholated Aftershave, with extra Menthol Crystals added, mistake. 10 minutes later, and my face still feels semi frozen, and my eyes are still watering. The good news is, my sinus' are very open.

Razor- Filarmonica 13 Doble Temple "Muleta"
Brush- @oscar11 special, with synthetic knot. Very good brush
    Soap/Cream- Proraso Red(Sandalwood)
Aftershave- Fine Snakebite, with extra Menthol Crystals added. Wow!!!

Gillette Toggle, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, shave 3
    f4.jpg

This one is a later date coded F4 model. Used this one to compare against a Red Dot Fatboy. Short answer they are the same razor head and give the same end result a close but no BBS cigar finish for me when set on 7 for both. Longer answer at least for this Toggle is it is much rougher shave though manageable. That has everything to do with the fact the toggle lever has been well used on this razor and it works but doesn't hold the blade as tight as it should. The Red Dot Fatboy is much smoother because the blade is held more tightly. It also highlights a key flaw in the design and probably why it was dropped besides the $10 price tag back in 1958 being a sales killer for the average customer.

With all that said I'd still opine that the Toggle and Red Dot Fatboy are better performing razors than the Executive and standard Fatboy razors that followed.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

Last outing of the Dorco Prime Platinum which have been smooth and efficient throughout the week these are my Dorco blade that i have reacquainted myself to....A very smooth forgiving efficient blade my favourite from the Dorco camp that i have used to date.

Finishing my shaving week of with another maiden shave using the new HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap. (no.3) HWF lanolin with Lavender & May Chang like the other new formula was a delight to shave with. The zesty citrus scent from the May Chang is another great addition to this wonderful lanolin based soap...What more can i say, apart from i look forward to using all of the HWF lanolin shaving soaps again in future shaves.

Another enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Gabels is really good. It's not clovey at all. It's got a slight sweetness. Is somewhat similar to Ogallala's scent.

And here I am again to bring you a photo that would make Newton envious (Isaac, not Helmut), albeit with a much less stimulating subject (than Hemut's, not Isaac's).

    Pleasant and very fragrant!

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #423 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER Razor by Tom with a Personna Super (74) Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed7 AM day 4
    Cerrus SC
    Prep ASB
    Alt Innsbruck AS Splash

This Cerrus is a very cheap vintage cream from Germany and I received many tubes of it a long time ago. I kept a couple of them for myself and I sent away the others. It has a nice scent which is aquatic/minty, its lather is good although not that slick, there’s a slight menthol sensation, and the skincare is decent but not great so the Prep sure came in handy. The Alt Innsbruck aftershave smells so gorgeous and it doesn’t lack menthol. Today’s shave was pretty damned good in spite of just two passes.

    Be well and safe!
