  15. First, I have a BA in Lib Arts with a heavy concentration in Science and most of my important Science credits are in Chem and Bio. I had enough Chem and other Science credits to be able to qualify under the old rules of being a permanently certfied teacher of 7-12 Chem and Gen. Science. Yes, I had to take and pass the content specialty Chem exam, the general knowledge exam and also tape myself teaching a Chem class to ship to Albany. I do have a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) for Secondary Ed.
Second, I don't have the inclination or the means to be a profitable soap maker.
Finally, I read up on Chem articles, etc. to keep me up to date in case I get an extremely smart student.

  17. No injury to living things.

Amazing what a 1”x2”x0.25” magnet can do if it goes inside a piece of mfg equipment.

I have to reconfigure ‘soft tooling’ to a used replacement part which is inconsistently varying from a trued flat by 0.004-0.005. Cutting tolerances are about 0.0005” in structures about .005 thick. Last job (one of the more difficult ones) already has 10+ hrs in setup, which is usually 1-2.

    Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1012
Wanted to revisit the Star Super Six as the last shave with it was incredible and lasted nearly 14 ours which shocked m. Another amazing shave with it and excited to have 2 more OLD razors coming from the same source this one came from. Already sold a couple more modern razors to cancel out the cost. Hope all are enjoying their weekend and have a Great Sunday !

  19. Joe - I m not questioning your education. Thanks for the clarification regarding the nature of your degrees bd journey to become the conscientious and highly competent chem teacher. Rather I was just stirring the pot to see if you had my inclination to trying making your own soap.
Regarding the State Ed requirements which continue to become more challenging, it makes me wonder why a young person would seriously consider a career in education, not to mention some of the current challenges teachers face. :yoda Regarding the video, I wonder if the State has enough inspectors/evaluators to view all the tapes sent in as part of the requirements for permanent certification. I am sure someone may have been tempted to send in a blank tape.
