Hello all
I'm pretty gone most of the time and I feel I should give back as much as possible.
Seeing as this group has done so much for my shave building.
I've picked up a inexpensive...well cheap razor to report on in case someone is in need of such a tool to get them by.

The razor with 2 blades were bought from Family Dollar for 7 dollars and some change.
I didn't use the blades that were supplied with it so I could do a comparison with my normal blade.
Feather blades were used instead.
I'll see how the supplied blades compare over the weekend when time allows.
The mechanism that operates the barn doors seem cheap but usable.
I could see how overtightening may ruin it.
The chrome coating looks cheap as expected for a razor of this price range.
The coating does seem even and has good coverage.
The handle is long enough, but I like a long handle.
The entire razor is lighter than most Gillette razors of the same genre.
Shaving with it would compare to a blue tip although somewhat lighter. It's easy to find the angle for good blade action if you ride the cap and easy to keep that angle on both face and head.
Not an overly efficient tool, but not a slouch either.
I had to snug the knob that tightens the barn doors a couple time because they loosened a bit during my first shave.
The second shave this wasn't an issue.
Not sure why.
The grip was sufficient and I had no problems with this style of handle.
A cheap tool ... oh yea.
But I wouldn't have any qualms using this for a week or two if I had my normal blades.
Not sure of the quality control on the thing because I bought the only one on the shelf.
Verdict.
Cheap, but sufficient, if a good blade is used.
No fear in using it.
I got a good 2 pass shave with no issues.
All
Enjoy!
