Back to the Vib'Raz, Charcoal/MDC with a slight twist, I added two half Suneko blades on top of another unsnapped Suneko. For Science. More blade feel. More efficient, maybe. [IMG]

    Hi all!!
I received another tool in the mail yesterday.
A new, yes new, Parker injector razor.
Not only new, but it's adjustable too.
I saw this and just couldn't pass on it.
It took 3 days to get it from my post office to my house.
This was due to an excessive amount of rain drops hurling themselves from the sky.
Of course all these rain drops headed to the places designed for them to run harmlessly away.
Well, there were so many rain drops, we had rain drop stampedes over roads and bridges, all over the county.
My mail carrier doesn't drive through stampeding rain drops, I don't blame him.
    They can be merciless.
    Anyway.....
Getting home early this morning, I opened it up first thing.

I didn't use the blades that were supplied with it.
I loaded it with a Schick B-20 blade.
I like B-20's in my injector razors.
The adjustment is numbered 1 to 5.
There are no clicks or indents, the dial runs smoothly from 1 through 5.
Not overly tight or loose it should stay where set.
I see no issues setting and adjusting it.
The knob stays set and is easily returned to your liking if you move it for cleaning and stuff.
The handel is one piece of sturdy metal with the hard plastic grip securely set in the metal handle.
The safety bar and adjustment mechanism looks like it is made from quality material and with care should last a long time.

Like my Pal adjustable it feels good in the hand with a nice grip.
1 for mild and 5 for the most aggressive shave the razor will offer , I used 5.
As with most injector razors this is not an aggressive tool, even on 5.
I ran a 2 pass shave with no fear of nicks or cuts.
A clean shave was had and I am satisfied with it.
It clogs easily, but that's the nature of injectors, that doesn't take away anything from it.

    The verdict.
Well if you tend to lean towards a more mild mannered razor and like injectors.
I wouldn't hesitate to suggest getting one.
It seems built well and at $35, is about the same price as a good vintage PAL adjustable, if you can find one.

    Enjoy

All-around great shave today with tried-and true ingredients.
Took the Feather blade one shave too far. It was not particularly sharp,
but with a modicum of buffing, the job got done.

    Good afternoon!

I decided to go with the freeze your face off soap Cryogen. I think this is only the second time that I used it the entire summer. The weather has been lousy this summer. We have had the wettest July on LI dating back to the late 1800's. Anyway, I did a 3 pass shave without any errors and embraced a BBS shave. However, I had to constantly buff throughout the shave. I prefer more efficient razors and that is why I rarely use this razor. Did my usual postshave routine that ended with the matching splash. I am still feeling the menthol after 20 min. Lol! Have a great rest of the day.

Feather Pro Supers are wicked sharp on the first use and seldom need an encore. At 5 uses, I start thinking about fresh steel, I’ll push this one another day though. Took the lazy man clean up side to center on the neck with the Hawk for the perfect finish.

Very nice shave and post, Bill! As I paraphrase Chris' @Bama Samurai words of wisdom, There's no shame in picking up a safety to get at a few missed spots. Take care my friend.

    DE Shave # 355

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Dollar Tree DE
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
Lather: Stache Soap Works E Barber
    Aftershave: Floid Genuine
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Pocono travel shave. Unfortunately, due to Henri our weekend has been cut short to come home to batten down the hatches. With all of the discussions regarding the cheap Dollar StoreDollar General DE razor this week I dusted mine off for a spin.

I did a two pass shave with the razor which delivered a nice close and comfortable shave. I used my traveling shave stick and Ever Ready 200T to face lather. The end result was a nice lather, on the thin side, which worked very well.

Arrived home to put away some of the patio furniture and to prep the generator, picked up some gas in PA as I was informed by my daughter to the gas stations where out of gas except for premium. I did manage to find some gas for the gas cans for the generator, regular, at the fourth gas station I went to. Let the fun times begin.

Hope you have a great day gentlemen.
