Every time I use Fernando’s wonderful soaps I think of the Stirling ones because they’re so similar in almost every way. The Frosted Lavender has a magnificent scent, the tallow formula makes the lather so slick, rich, and thick, the menthol sensation really jumps on you - it’s easily comparable to any of the Stirling Glacials, and the postshave feeling is perfect. The Prep provided me with such soothing, moisturizing skincare, and the Snake Bite aftershave froze me big time. The new Astra Green blade helped me get BBS in three glorious, easy passes. What more can I ask!

These Astra Greens are my favourite blades because in spite of my tough beard they give me excellent longevity, they’re very sharp, smooth, and forgiving. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap’s scent is gorgeous - it’s exactly like Sharp Dressed Man also from Stirling but the menthol fumes really jump on you when you open the container. The lather is such a delight to work up, especially with this wonderful Yaqi Barber Pole, the tallow formula gives it such slickness, and the menthol sensation is killer cold but the skincare is perfect. The Glacial Unscented balm is one of the most moisturizing and soothing products I’ve ever used, and it gives a hell of a menthol punch. The Arctique aftershave is so frigid that you need only a small amount. What a super duper BBS this was!

Guys, Fernando custom made me this special version of Citrus Melody and let me say right now that it’ll freeze your face off - yes, it’s about 30% menthol with of course the same lovely scent as the regular version, the lather is much easier to work up now that the soap has fully matured, the menthol sensation is so intense that it actually passes the Stirling Glacials albeit slightly, the tallow formula gives great slickness, and the skincare is perfect. The Glacial Lemon Chill balm’s scent goes great with the soap and the matching aftershave which has no sting or burn whatsoever because it’s witch hazel based, and it’s another menthol atom bomb. Three passes left me smoother than silk!

My Menthol Monday contribution was the Osage Rub A.S. No wonder I haven't used it too much...it really gets you by pleasant surprise when you DO use it.

These Schick blades are awesome - they’re very sharp, smooth, as well as forgiving. Fernando sent me a pack of them in one of my orders and I started the last one today. The Peppermint Lime soap is one of the nicest he makes - the scent is so beautiful and refreshing, the tallow formula allows wonderful, slick lather, it’s got a whopping good menthol sensation, and the postshave feeling is great. The Glacial Unscented balm together with the Snake Bite aftershave prolonged the freeze so well. Today’s shave was so BBS and so enjoyable!

*-this is actually a shaving cream, but placed in a 5 oz. tin. As listed, I'm going to try the brush option, where I don't foresee much "swirling" they say you just stick it in, maybe a couple or 3 swirls,, and that should be enough. It's kind of like the Razorock Aqua("Shaving Cream Soap"), but appears to be softer.

**-will go with the brush option, see how it is, then try the spoon option(as others have suggested).

My second time using the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade soap and I swear that it could win an award for the scent alone - it smells magnificent. I had so much fun working up the lather, the intense menthol sensation sure came in handy because of the heat that we’re having, and you can’t ask for better skincare. The Glacial Unscented balm provided plenty of icy cold soothing and moisturizing, while the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave went on frigidly cold but its scent doesn’t interfere with the Bleu de Chanel’s wonderful fragrance. What a cracking good shave this was!

Do I ever wish the Glacial Obsidian was still in production because it’s one of my favourite Glacial soaps. The scent is black licorice in a beautiful way, the tallow formula gives it such ease of lathering, the slickness is fabulous, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the skincare is perfect. The Glacial Unscented balm is so moisturizing, soothing, as well as frigid, and the Osage Rub aftershave can freeze you to smithereens. The new Astra Green blade helped me to get a brilliant three pass BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely!

I think my face will need all day to thaw out after this intense menthol bombardment - the mentholated pre shave soap from Stirling felt nice and chilly, the Frosted Lavender soap’s gorgeous scent filled my bathroom, it buried my face in such thick, rich, FRIGID lather, and the postshave feeling was numero uno. The Prep gave me its own special care, and the Arctique aftershave took the freeze to another level. Three passes left me mega BBS!

If a setup like this doesn’t freeze your face off I don’t think anything will - I wish this Glacial Spearmint soap and balm were still in production because they’re both so fantastic. My bathroom still smells a little from spearmint from the soap and from Fernando’s wonderful Frosted Spearmint aftershave which is also a menthol atom bomb. What a great BBS shave this was!
