The Snake Bite Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #425 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Repeating Razor C with a Schick Proline Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

For me, the SuperSpeed/Euromax combo is a superb one. The shave was close, extremely comfortable and smooth. DFS+ in 2 passes. My face is very happy. I could use this combo everyday but of course I won't. To much stuff out there to try. Now go enjoy your day folks.

RAZOR: Tanifuji Airi (Mug), Gillette Big Fellow (Noggin)
BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: MrEE Knurled Aluminum Handle Hybrid Knot #007
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Alt-Innsbruck.

 

GEMonday, Aug 23 2021

Razor: Gem Push button, Mfg 1958-65, excellent tame mid range, black & gold make this razor best eye candy, different method of clamping blade.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (3) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Speick, nice spicy scent, excellent lather qualities- recommend this triple milled soap.
Brush: Yaqi 2band(Finest badger)barber pole, great for large hands, excellent lather generator, pillow soft tips, nice scrubber, great lather painter IMO.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post: Ach Brito Lavada with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with HA.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Gem Push button with a Gem coated blade.

Thank you Gary! Today I actually used a blade for the second time. It worked great and will try this going forward. Essentially I just cut my razor blade costs by 50%!
