Fantastic! If I may ask, what does Diver Down smell like and how does the soap perform? Can you compare it to something we all might be familiar with?

    Thanks in advance.

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Gillette day 11
Master Soap Creations Deep Blue SS
    Bull Dog Moisturizer
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

Fernando is a true soap genius in every way - his Deep Blue is a prime example of his skill and knowledge - a beautiful scent which is based on Diesel Blue, the tallow formula gives this soap such fantastic lather which is so thick, rich, slick, and protective, not to mention how great the skincare is. The Bull Dog moisturizer works perfectly as a balm, and to me no other fragrance comes even close to the Bleu de Chanel. Three passes gave me an absolutely splendid BBS shave!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and safe!

The Old Spice Original Shaving Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #425 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Repeating Razor C with a Schick Proline Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Gillette New long comb Canadian Variant- Mfg 1930's, excellent mid range, mostly excellent shaves, I like this handle for manipulating the razor.
Blade: Derby Premium(5), Sharp & smooth with good longevity, Derby's better blade IMO.
Soap: Italian barber Amici, nice mild citrus scent, great lather qualities. I enjoy Amici scents.
Brush: Yaqi 22 mm Cola, excellent lather generator, good handle ergonomics, cloud like soft tips, great scrub + great painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici aftershave [IMG] with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with HA.

The Schick E1 shaves exceptionally close and smooth. I decided to start using up some old samples of shave creams and soaps that have been laying around. This sample of Grafton from T&H really caught my attention. Very pleasing aroma and excellent lather. Wonderful shave all around :happy036:

For me the best description is of something like an Old Spice scent. I’m not great with nuances of scents but would say if you like Old Spice, you would probably enjoy this. I thoroughly enjoyed it this morning. The soap quality is great. I used the older base, not the CK6, but they both are fantastic. Some will swear CK6 is much better, but for me they are about the same. They are vegan, but to be honest, I do not miss the tallow in these products. They lather up quick and easy, have a great density, and are very slick. I would say they perform similar to Catie’s Bubbles if you have used their soaps. PAA is one of my favorite brands and I believe they make high quality, enjoyable products.
