    I am wearing this Garmin Instinct today, which of course is a sports watch (and doesn’t tick), but is amazingly useful. In fact, it’s the best sports watch I have had so far.

    Is yours solar? A buddy of mine picked one up and absolutely loves it. Depending on how much activity tracking he does with it, the battery life is just about indefinite.

    It is, and the battery easily lasts a month or longer. It put it in power safe mode when not wearing it, and keep it on the windowsill with my other solar watches.
