  5. One of the benefits for me was relearning what a fabulous razor my Ambassador is. It’s my best modern adjustable!

Stunning finish to the month. All starting with the Valobra-manufactured, Art of Shaving-marketed,

Italian, triple-milled, discontinued, unscented shave soap.
I re-read that last sentence an pondered if there was a better order of adjectives,
    hereafter known as: "OoA".

Set the adjustable to "7" and performed a traditional 3-pass shave.

All went quite swimmingly, with the possible exception of some light weepers
on the left side of my neck.

Daring scent. IMO, not appropriate for the office environment.
  9. :signs001:Jeff...Is that the Muhle with the R41 head?...Answer, No it's the R89 which has the same handle as the R41. Take care. Yours-Barry. The green tea drinker from Limeyland.

  10. awesome way to cap off the month Joseph..
  11. I will certainly consider your suggestion. This all "staaated"(Boston talk)when @Trigger was grading his shaves. I just picked up on that idea, only I gave worded commentary. I'll see what happens by just reporting the shave. I always enjoy shaving anyway. Thanks.

It's the last shave of the month and so I decided to break out my most expensive soap. In the beginning, I wasn't happy with the purchase because I didn't get much scent off the puck and the lather was quite finicky in regards to the water/soap ratio. This soap needs plenty of water to get a nick, slick, creamy lather. If you prefer a much thicker lather, then this soap base (Cardinal) is not for you. The scent picks up as I am loading and to my nose it is complex. It has a nice pleasant scent that is not overpowering. Unfortunately, it does not stay to long when face lathering. The aftershave is fine, but again, the sillage is poor. The caveat is that your mileage may vary with this set. Did get a near BBS and did my usual postshave ritual. Have a great day!

  15. Good one Paul! Like I mentioned earlier, you have to try different ways of shaving to see what works best for you and you did. Bravo!

  16. I'm glad I purchased it, although, I haven’t bought a new safety razor in almost a year and a half. When wide open, it’s the most aggressive safety razor I own, much more so than my Gplate Karve and blows away my 2011 R41.

  17. It is a wonderful shaver.
  18. Great shave Danny! I have never tried P160, but I believe it is similar to Stirling Piacenza.
