  16. My first MMOC shave in a good five years. Maybe more. I’m having difficulty posting photos - I get error messages about the file size being too large..

I palm stropped a fresh GEM PTFE blade six times on each side. For lather I went with the tried and true Mike’s Natural Unscented soap and a faux bone Vulfix 2234 Super badger brush. Face lathered as usual. WOW! What an excellent and pleasurable shave it was! Some trepidation as I got underway, but my improved technique took over and guided me through. Cap to face, negative pressure, stretch the skin, slow short strokes.

After two passes my end result was bbs everywhere except on my neck where I happily settled for a dfs. Along the way I had two little itty bitty, teency weency, minuscule nicks of the smallest variety. You couldn’t even see the faintest trace of them after my initial rinse. This was major, as the MMOC was never kind to my tender skin. I actually impressed myself with that accomplishment :D

Post shave was cold water rinse, Osma alum (some minor sting, nothing to write home about), witch hazel splash and then another cold water rinse. Gently patted to damp dry and applied a liberal palm full face slapping of Fine Snake Bite, and thirty or so seconds later another. Topped off with my Clubman/Cryogen blend for good measure.

Hot Damn! I looked clean, felt great and smelled like you should after a close and enjoyable shave.

Skipping Every other shave, tomorrow I’m back to a Tech, and then it’s on to one of my two injectors.

  19. Very nice MMOC shave. I love the shave I get on mine.

Regarding the posting of pictures: You are getting the error message because the actual photo is too large.
After you select the photo from you library click on the “Actual” tab. Doing so will give you several options. Select either “Medium” or “Small”. Then press “Choose”

    Hope this helps.
