Awesome lather this morning and I don't know why I don't use my RR soaps more often. Great performers and value.

I loaded a fresh Feather Professional Super in the Hawk and went to town. Three very nice passes with no blood loss. The Super blade really brought the Hawk to another level. The Supers are a little wider than the Pros. Super on the left. Pro on the right.

Finished the shave with a little witch hazel and Royal Copenhagen.

I'm smooth and smelling good. I hope everyone is having a great day!

Well, well. Look what the cat dragged in. I think it has been right on 6 weeks since I've been active on the site. 3 weeks vacation turned into a month and a half away from the fine gentlemen of the 30DC. Too many things have happened (dodging wildfires, renovations at home etc.) to bore you all with. Anyway, I'm in for Single Edge September. I'll keep the 'S' thing going and try to use SV, Stirling or Soap Commander products everyday as well.
Everything worked as it should today:

A few weeks ago also saw the end of the First Canadian:

That makes 3 down this year so far...I think I'll give SC Endurance a few days a week to expediate that process as well.

    Have a great day all!

Another breathtaking dual razor shave, Jeff. Is the Prismatic top cap an accurate copy of the Kirby top cap or is it more of an homage? Enjoy your day, my friend, and keep me in mind for a lunch on me if you’re ever going to be out in these parts.

Can’t beat an R41 2011 for a close shave, only the Rex Ambassador on 6 gives a closer first pass shave from my experience. But as far as endpoints go they’re clearly even! Enjoy your day, Joseph!

Clint, so nice to hear from you again! The car, a Mazda Turbo CX-7, is unfortunately, now salvage! It was a close call! I was pulled out of the car and floated to safety by my son, Sam’s partner. Haven’t felt that close to punching out since SE Asia, 52 years ago. Anyway, hope you’re back to stay after your break! We’ve missed those great posts and monthly summaries as well as your great razor collection. All the best! :)

Wow, Danny, the Hawk looks great on the new handle! The Feather Super really spoiled me. I don’t really enjoy my AC razor shaves as much w/o a Super loaded. Hope your day is great! :)

Thanks :) . The Prismatic is not an accurate copy, it's considerably more aggressive than the Kirby. The PAA Meta-4 is according to Douglas more representative (except the covered tabs). It's too mild for me. I was hoping when he redid the Prismatic in SS he would retain the aggressive geometry but no.

Thanks, Joe! It’s ironic that as you move towards bigger and bigger widths, I find myself moving in the opposite direction. The little Tornblom was amazing. On a less positive note, unfortunately, the Mazda is toast! Time to look for a new car! The bride has a Tesla, and is trying to talk me into one! Not even on a good day! I like the smell of gasoline and oil! :)

Fabulous Supply shave, Jason, and welcome back! Great to see you posting again. I’ve been enjoying that wonderful brush you made for me. Besides my being caught in a flash flood and almost drowning Wednesday, it’s been a good kickoff. Enjoy your day! All the best! :)

Wonderful shave and I agree with your assessment of RazooRock Soap! I was just talking with Joe C at our meeting concerning the value of the less expensive soaps like RazorRock, etc.
