Finally found the brother razor to Hans’ ERN… ERN 1166 The Crown & Sword Razor Brush: Smilez For Milez Suds & Splash: A&E Forbidden Fruit I do enjoy the full ERN portfolio. Enjoy your shave. Tom
No problem Jeff, my bad. Yes CVH is a shortage for Carl Victor Heljestrand. My Grandfather worked there for about 25 years as grinder. His expertise was straight razors and scissors. I often wonder if some of the CVH I have would have been made by him. To be honest, the 4/8” works perfectly fine. I will make a little summary of the CVH I have later on in the thread Swedish razors. Regards Hans Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
Thanks Joe… and it has a bottle opener mounted in the bottom, though I do try to avoid drinking and shaving.
Friday shave, CVH MK No.31 with Ivory scales. Magnificent shave, almost totally silent despite it cuts so well. Smooth as a dolphin. Splash Floris Turnbull and Asser. Now it’s time for a GT or a Single Malt?!? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
Not so sure about that… I may be hiding some things in the picture’s shadows. Cool to see the differences. “ERN” and the 1166 are on the backside tang on mine, compared to the show side on yours.
I have a feeling the reason your razors are "Shaving like a million bucks" is that you know how to properly hone a razor.
Charlie Lewis frameback in white micarta Brush: Heritage Collection Suds & Splash: A&E SoCal Hipster 2010 custom that you don’t see artisans doing that often… a frameback. Enjoy your shave. Tom
I enjoy his style… primitive and industrial. Not sure how many framebacks he made like this, as I’ve seen a couple, but I’m glad I acquired this one.
