    No problem Jeff, my bad. Yes CVH is a shortage for Carl Victor Heljestrand. My Grandfather worked there for about 25 years as grinder. His expertise was straight razors and scissors. I often wonder if some of the CVH I have would have been made by him.
    To be honest, the 4/8” works perfectly fine. I will make a little summary of the CVH I have later on in the thread Swedish razors.

    Friday shave, CVH MK No.31 with Ivory scales. Magnificent shave, almost totally silent despite it cuts so well. Smooth as a dolphin. Splash Floris Turnbull and Asser. Now it’s time for a GT or a Single Malt?!?

    Not so sure about that… I may be hiding some things in the picture’s shadows. :)

    Cool to see the differences. “ERN” and the 1166 are on the backside tang on mine, compared to the show side on yours.

    I enjoy his style… primitive and industrial. Not sure how many framebacks he made like this, as I’ve seen a couple, but I’m glad I acquired this one.
