Awesome shave this morning with the Razorock products.

Amazing lather and a great three pass shave. The Hawk is a great razor and punches way above its price point. I'm really enjoying this Hawk/RR soap focus.

I hope everyone had a great labor day. This is how I spent mine.... 24-26 inch water oak. We got most of the top cut up and the limbs out of the yard.....now for the big stuff.

The results were good, but the shave was a little rough with another gotcha. I reduced the stretching and thought it would help, but I am thinking that this razor / blade combo might be too much for me as a daily driver.

Nice shave, Dale. You may be right that it may not be a daily driver for you. Take care.

Welcome aboard! My name is Patrick and I have had different results from different types of injector razors. Ive never used the Parker but have many Shicks in my day.
Its seems unlikely that the blade is your problem since you have seen some improvement since you started . Sometimes getting the blade lined up with the key can be a pain and takes some figiting to get it in place . This can also dull or nick the blade if it rubs across the stops on its way into place causing a poor shave or cuts to the skin.
With my experience, some of the later model Shicks are milder razors and I prefer more agressive like the E series . I never got great results from the milder type.
As mentioned before by another member, I believe it was Joe @Trigger , less pressure is needed than from carts and getting proper angle is key.
I hope that helps and you don't get frustrated and give up on the injector . Sometimes it just takes time and patience!!

My mom and I used to laugh together when we saw ads of men running credit cards up and down their faces to indicate they need a shave.

Another brush user for "shaving cream in a soap". It's a bit of a struggle, but the company where I bought minr(shaving cream)recommended I use a brush, not my bare hands.

i use a brush/bpwl combination or a dollop on the brush for face lathers when i use crams..you could probably use your hands with tobs..:)
