Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen SS Lupo.72, Mfg 2021>, excellent razor, designed very well, One of my top 3 razors out of 45+ razors. It is a mid range and I find it a carefree comfortable shave 95%> of the time. There are limits to any razor, but this Lupo.72 is way up there in my razor collection for quality of shaves IMO. Enough hoopla!
Blade: Gillette Astra SS(4) excellent sharpness & smoothness with great longevity.
Soap: Tabac, nice flowery mild scent with excellent lather qualities, time proven.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm 2 band badger+ barber pole handle, excellent lather generator, pillow soft like tips, excellent scrubber, great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer(great stuff IMO.)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 +Gillette Astra SS blade.

Yikes! This was one of the least enjoyable shaves I’ve had in a long time. Granted it was a little more stubble than usual but that doesn’t cut it as an explanation. Definitely needs a visit to the stones - very tuggy and rough - not even close to my expectations.

Those Nivea Balms are good stuff. I do not think I have seen the cream in the druggists or at retail here in the states.

that's a shame.it's quite good .it's also made exclusively for use with a brush.worth a try..
