  1. I knew that, but I just thought that I throw out some trivia.

  2. Thank you, Jeff. I'll have to try a head shave with my Autostrop. Take care, and have a safe coming week.
  3. Just checking in!
I hope that everyone is well and in good spirits. I've been keeping up with the shaves. I have found my perfect combination... Irritation-free BBS each and every single time.

MMOC + GEM PTFE + Arko + Proraso Green Splash.

I really haven't used anything else for the last month or so, with the exception of some TOBS once in a while for a change of scent.

Great to see so many cool SEs doing the rounds this month! Those Valet Autostrops are so cool!

  5. Great kit, James! Can’t argue with a grail kit! Glad it’s working for you!
  6. You call her Raquel??? I wonder what she'd call you if you two met.

  7. I’ve never used a VC1 for a dome shave, but I’m sure it’ll shave like my VC4 OR VB2, both great Noggin scrapers!

  8. Right. That would do it to anyone.
  9. That's my hope someday soon....to be allowed to tour the house I grew up in. I have my work cut out for me though, as people here in the Northeast may not be as friendly as those in the Far West.
  10. Hey James! Good to hear from you and hope you are doing well! Nice shave, my friend!

  11. You can only ask! I am fortunate because our house was bought by a former neighbor’s daughter, the tomboy I had dinner with and who Played shortstop on my old Little League team.
  12. Thank you Joe

Razor: Drew Dick 7/8” Half Hollow Damascus
    Brush: Opus Shaving Brushes “Underdog”
    Lather: Razorock XXX
    Aftershave: Stirling Piacenza
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Nivea Cool Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Another beautiful day that started off with a great shave. I have not used the RR XXX in a while. I was rewarded with a very slick lather. The Dick razor easily took care of the whiskers.
with usual three passes. The Stirling Piacenza pairs nicely with the soap.

Following the shave I took a trip to the hospital for the pre surgery COVID test. Afterwards I spent the early afternoon cooking some food for my mother as she was not feeling well.

Hope you all had a great day gentlemen.
