    TSD Iced Lime Shave Stick
    Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger
    TARMAX SE by Tom
    Personna GEM SS PTFE
    CWR
    Osage Rub

The TSD Iced Lime Shave Stick lathered well with Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TARMAX SE Razor by Tom with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you, Joseph! Good to be posting again.

I had to take a short break for a while so I could focus on some family issues and responsibilities.

Was this ever a Grand Freeze!

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Gillette day 13
    Stirling Glacial Citron SS
    Prep ASB
    Stirling Glacial Citron AS Splash

Rod’s new Glacial soaps are da BOMB! (da menthol bomb that is! Hell, the Glacial Citron soap smells so beautiful - lemon, lime, tangerine, and grapefruit all come together to give this soap an awesome scent, you can’t ask for better, slicker lather, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the postshave feeling is great. The Prep and the Glacial Citron aftershave were a terrific finish. What a terrific BBS shave this was!

Have a good week - be well and safe!

    Golden shave today
    Filarmonica no13 Muleta
    Kanayama 30k
    PAA Cashmere Solar Flare
    PAA Doppelgänger Gold soap
    PAA Doppelgänger Gold After Shave

Touched up the Filarmonica on my 4 sided balsa paddle strop with some diamond paste then Chromium Oxide 30 laps, before hitting it with a hundred on the Kamayama cordovan strop.
I got this razor NOS back in 2008 and I have never touched it with a stone of any kind. Just probably twice a year on the paddle strop to tune her back into the super sharp bevel that the factory made.
What a phenomenal shave this was.

Razor: Gem Micromatic clog Pruf(Peerless 17 nib SB model),Mfg 1945, excellent mid range, built to last generations, great razor to use when blade use count gets high or any time. Brass construction and Micromatics where way ahead of the competition for TTO at first introduction 1930.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(9) excellent blade, Very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable.
Soap: Ogallala Bayrum with sage & cedarwood. nice scent with a little clove, great lather qualities. I Load soap with damp brush from my bowl more pastier and then wet the face apply and wet as needed seems to work the best, total bowl lathering with it is finicky I have found. Nice soap regardless.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Artic sky knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Ogallala Bayrum with Sandal wood [IMG] + a tiny dollop of CeraVe balm.(great stuff + scentless)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG]excellent shave with my Micromatic Clog Pruf (Peerless model) and a coated Gem blade.

Well, here I go continuing to dig into @Primotenore's monster PIF from earlier in the year, for Tuesday's shave:

    prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(Ultimate Clean)in shower
    shave-A&E "Chasing The Dragon"
    brush-Stoylin "li'l brudder"
razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot + DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Stoylin Unscented*

    *
The A&E has such a nice scent that you have to go with an unscented afershave, so as not to waste it(the scent).

Looking forward to your shave, Paul. I would go with the A&E aftershave. It is a perfect match for the soap.
