Thank you Joe for the tribute shave.
The surgery went well this morning. Currently, watching the Mets to torture myself in a different way. The annoying thing is the constant pins and needles in my fingers in the right hand. That will subside as the nerve blocker wears off.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers

I thought I’d report back on my progress. In my last post I described how I was having problems with my Parker and had ordered a Schick M1 adjustable. The Schick came and turned out to be in mint condition. I was the first person to push out the blank blade some 60 years after it was manufactured. I was very excited! There was an immediate difference to the Parker, not a magical BBS shave but much better. I could find the angle and the blade cut the stubble efficiently. I’m still practicing and improving, very much enjoying the new razor.

In the meantime I contacted Parker and explained what was going on. They offered to send another razor which just arrived today. I’m looking forward to trying it out to see if it was the first razor or me.
