Yessir. IIRC the razor never received an official name from Ever Ready and it is commonly just called the 1924 or shovel head. It is a very good medium aggressive razor.

They can still be had pretty inexpensively and are definitely worth a try if you haven't done so yet.

Joe, I decided to take someone's advice and forego my ratings. Glad to you see you're a fan of them. Maybe I'll go back. But right, that's what I would have given it.

Thanks for the assurance Joe. It probably is pretty nice, then.

Glad thing worked out for you, Eric! I never had issues with mine other than it not being quite as efficient a shaver as I like. How do you find it compares to the Schick?

Thanks, Joe! Hope you begin to feel better soon. When my wife had her shoulder replacement, she was very sore for quite a while. Are you able to sleep on your back?

I’m only a few shaves in but it seems a touch milder than the Schick however very comparable. I would think the Parker design more closely resembles a PAL injector but it seems to be a solid, modern injector razor in its own right rather than just a copy. Perhaps eventually I’ll get to try a PAL to see how it compares. The Supply razor also looks interesting. It seems I’m just spoiled for choice.

The Suppy Razor is without doubt my favorite injector. The three dot plate with a Feather or. Kai will deliver the closest of shaves.
