Thank you for asking ..... First few days was the question what's worse the surgery or the drugs they put me on. Now that I put myself on just Arthritis Strength Tylenol, I can manage the pain and feel I'm moving ahead. Most of my time I spend in an immobilizer ..... sounds like an evil comic book character. Going for a follow up visit Tuesday, then will see length of time off.
1946 Gillette Ranger Tech. I've been looking for one of the for a while & finally got one coming my way.
Thank you ..... only a matter of time before I'm up to snuff. I use to feel Simpson brushes were out of reach, but I found it really only a matter of patience.. BTW great catch with the 46 .... I've had plenty of 41's, but never a 46.
Thanks Keith. I've been off work by doctor's orders the last 2 weeks myself after my emergency gallbladder surgery. Feeling much better though and back to work tomorrow with no restrictions.
All this talk of Clog Pruf Gems and Micromatic Gems I decided to give it a go again. I looked for the cheapest ugliest clog pruf and some one wanted it more than I did. Then I saw this Bullet end Micromatic and I really like the shape of them. The seller made me an offer that I accepted. Looks silver plated I think it'll clean up pretty nicely.
Thank you! I wanted a nice one in case I decided to PIF it. Sometimes it's not the quality of the shave that makes me pass on some razors ...... it can be the falderal of purchasing special blades or modifying blades. If it's not substantially better than most razors thaen I don't keep it.
thank you Gary. I had an awesome shave with my 1941 Ranger Tech this morning. Going to post pics when I get home from work, no time this morning. Trying to get back into the swing of going back to work.
Waiting on some Ach Brito Lavanda shaving cream and Italian version of Palmolive Classic shaving cream to arrive. Maggard finally got the Lavanda back in stock and I've really been wanting to try it. The Italian version of Palmolive Classic is tried and true and my favorite. Getting low.
