Fougere Friday with a favourite. No idea how many days on the blade, but it is done. Still good results with a quality shaver, regardless.
    Have a great weekend all!
  6. I have the #175 and love it. I'm biased, though. I like every Gillette NEW out there (the LC is 'Mount Rushmore' shaver for me)
Agree. The different metals in topcap and baseplate make for a cool look after the coating wears off. That being said, Evan replated my Goodwill in Gold (ironic, no?) and the NEW LC in bright nickel. I can't wait for OC October!

  8. Yeah I have an extra Short Comb that calls out for a nickel job. LC/160 doesn't do much for me for some reason.

It's a dreary day on LI so I decided to shave with the awesome scent of Stirling's Christmas Eve. I figure we are on the cusp of fall so why not? I only have 2 other Stirling soaps so I don'have much choice. Lol!

Evan's brush has great backbone and it really performs well. The scent on the lather just brings me to a happy place. 2.5 passes was needed to get a BBS shave, however, a weep occurred on my lower neck near my flat Adam's apple. It sprung out of the blue, but hit it with cold water and alum to take care of it. It was an irritation free session as well. After the alum and witch hazel applications, I splashed this wonderful juice to end this nice shave. Have a great evening!
