@Hembree always said that a good Alabama breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I'm glad I didn't have a desk job where I had to dress like this for work.
Oh YEAH! It is Fat friday. Razorock Hawk solid bar. Maggard's Razors MR8 handle. Feather Professional Super (8). Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap. MrEE LE #011 handle with Dscosmetics synthetic knot. Royal Copenhagen cologne I love Fat Friday! Evan's brush did a wonderful job beating the Fat into submission. Once you get past the "airy" stage you are rewarded with some amazing lather. I put the MR8 handle on the Hawk to keep the Fat theme going. This is one big heavy handle. Three wonderful drama free passes for a nice smooth shave. Finished it off with some Royal Copenhagen. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
SRS # 566 Rating: 5 / 5 Razor: JR Torrey Celebrated Hollow Ground Brush: Shore Shave Blue Nebula w/ Paragon 25 mm Boar Lather: FuzzyFace Soaps Bonsai Aftershave: Brut Osage Rub Additional Care: Nivea Cool Balm Stirling Alum Block Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original A dreary, wet day on Long Island this morning. Not a day for a long walk but definitely a great shave. The Fuzzy Face Bosnsai answered the call with a nice thick and slick lather. The boar brush whipped up enough lather for close to two shaves. The JR Torrey easily mowed down my 24 hour stubble leaving my face smooth, clean and totally refreshed. I was in the mood for some menthol today. The Osage Rub satisfied the mood . I hope you have a great day gentlemen.
Jason, what is your thoughts on the SC Endurance scent? The Endurance has always peaked my interest and I was thinking about getting the Heritage scent but I think I would get to enjoy the Endurance year round.
Well done, I changed the ejector pump in my well this summer. It was 28 years old so it was time to do it at the same time as the well was pressured due to low flow. The well is 120m deep but the pump is 90m down. (394ft/295ft) Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
Well, it is true that some of us describe our shaves by saying they "light my face on fire". Thanks Danny, and you do the same.
Mikron mk2 v 1980s Progress, Treet Falcon, 4 setting. Mikron has less blade feel, a narrower sweet spot, and much less audible feedback than the Progress. However in my experience that milder feel does not compromise its efficiency, just means a bit more focus is required. That's no problem for me, thus the smoother Mikron still wins on points for me. Thanks...that is a deep well. This one is 135 feet with the jet pump on top of the casing. Take care.
I am so glad I changed over to a "cooler" shave combo today. Some may like Spice all year, but for me it's best in the real cold months(Jan-Feb-early March).I have to correct an error I made in the plan-I had the Stoylin Pro-Handle(26 mm), not the much smaller Stoylin "li'l bruddder". The Pro-Handle fit well enough into the Razorock soap without making clanging noises along the circumference of the thing(the soap puck). 2 passes-as I was doing the first, my thought was "boy, you're going to need that second pass". In a huge twist from yesterday, I had no cuts or Knicks. By using the Stoylin Glacial Lime for my aftershave, I thought I would be turning my face and neck into an ice-rink, but it was all right. Very happy with the shave overall-Outta This World Excellent.
